Social Security Disability Paralegal and Client Support

Role Description Our Client is seeking a Social Security Disability Paralegal and Client Support specialist to join their team in a long-term capacity. This role is a unique blend of legal support, administrative operations, and proactive client communication. The successful candidate will manage large administrative records, track critical legal deadlines, and serve as a professional voice for the firm when coordinating with U.S.-based clients. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a role that requires both deep-focus analytical work and confident verbal interaction. Key Responsibilities - Legal Support & Case Analysis - Reviews medical records to identify key evidence relevant to Social Security Disability claims. - Prepares concise medical summaries and chronologies to assist with case development. - Organizes and manages large administrative records (often exceeding 1,000 pages) with extreme accuracy. - Assists with the preparation and filing of essential legal documents for the Appeals Council and Federal Court. - Operations & Case Management - Maintains detailed case tracking systems (Excel, SharePoint, etc.) to ensure internal records are always up to date. - Monitors case statuses and tracks strict deadlines for Federal Court filings and agency responses. - Collaborates with the team to identify and implement improvements to internal workflows and processes. - Client Communication (Outbound Focused) - Makes regular outbound calls to U.S.-based clients to follow up on case statuses, missing documentation, and next steps. - Communicates professionally and confidently, providing clear updates and explaining basic case milestones. - Documents all client interactions accurately within the firm's case management system. Qualifications - Communication: Near-perfect English (written and spoken) with a clear, professional, and confident phone presence. - Experience: Previous experience in outbound calling or high-level client communication is required. - Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Word. - Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines. - Reliability: Must have a stable internet connection and the ability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Business hours. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with U.S. law firms or within the Social Security Disability field. - Proven ability to summarize medical records or legal documents. - Familiarity with case management systems such as Clio Manage, Clio Draft, or Lawmatics.
