• Perform daily bookkeeping and ledger entries in QuickBooks Online • Review and reconcile automatically imported transactions • Correct miscategorized or incomplete entries as needed • Maintain accuracy and consistency across financial records • Manage accounts payable processes including: Expense categorization, Bill entries, Payment entries • Track and organize receipts, ensuring proper attachment to transactions • Assist with month-end cleanup and preparation • Support basic accrual accounting tasks: Prepaid expenses, Monthly journal entries • Prepare records for final review by the client (excluding final reconciliations) • Identify and help resolve discrepancies between systems • Follow established workflows while recommending efficiency improvements when appropriate • Create and manage Purchase Orders (preferred) • Assist with light administrative tasks if bandwidth allows
Job Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Familiarity with expense management tools (e.g., Ramp or similar)
- Experience with receipt tracking and transaction matching workflows
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with automated financial data and resolve exceptions
- Clear written communication skills in English.

Role Description You'll handle day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients — recording transactions, reconciling bank accounts, preparing VAT returns, and producing monthly management accounts.
