Role Description Adelphi is seeking a Music Therapist (MT) to provide therapy services to students with severe disabilities at school facilities across Missouri. The MT will deliver services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and follow an integrated therapy approach within the classroom setting. - Provide direct music therapy services per IEPs - Support student development through therapeutic music interventions - Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams - Maintain documentation and service logs - Assist with IEP documentation and progress reporting - Participate in meetings, trainings, and consultations - Ensure compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy - Board Certification (MT-BC) required - Experience working with students ages 5–21 with severe disabilities preferred - Familiarity with IEPs and IDEA regulations - Strong collaboration and communication skills Requirements - Reference #: BD-1308A - Profession: Allied Health - Specialty: Music Therapist (MT) - Location: Missouri (multiple school sites) - Facility Type: School - Job Type: Contract - Contract Duration: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027 - Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours; additional scheduling as needed - Service Delivery: On-site and/or teletherapy as determined by the school - Compensation: $45 per hour Company Description

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
