Senior Project Land Surveyor
Kier + Wright
• Perform and verify complex boundary analyses using relevant legal principles, statutes, and case law. • Prepare high-accuracy survey deliverables, including: ALTA/NSPS surveys, Records of Survey, Boundary and topographic surveys, Short and long plats, subdivision maps, and lot line adjustments, Easement exhibits and legal descriptions. • Process and adjust GPS and conventional survey data; perform least-squares adjustments as needed. • Conduct advanced COGO calculations, coordinate geometry evaluation, and geodetic analyses. • Provide guidance and informal mentorship to Survey Technicians and early-career survey staff. • Respond to technical inquiries from clients and agencies when requested by project leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in Land Surveying
- 8-10+ years’ relevant survey experience
- Professional Land Surveyor License (LS), preferred
- Project Management experience, preferred
- General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, Bluebeam, etc.
- Proficient experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, required.
