Senior Software Engineer, .NET
Zartis
• Build and maintain scalable backend services using .NET / .NET Core and Web APIs. • Design and develop platform components and shared services to support multiple development teams at scale. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs supporting high-traffic payment systems. • Contribute to frontend development, building UI components that consume well-defined APIs. • Work within a microservices and event-driven architecture, ensuring reliability and performance. • Collaborate with architecture teams to align with long-term platform strategy and implement improvements. • Participate in test-driven development (TDD) and ensure high-quality, production-ready code. • Engage with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and drive delivery. • Support production systems, ensuring observability, scalability, and maintainability. • Continuously learn and upskill, contributing to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core.
- Experience building systems using microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, preferably in Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as CosmosDB, App Insights, Service Fabric, Redis, or similar.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka or similar messaging systems).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and OAuth security flows.
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles (SOLID, DI, IoC) and testing practices.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Angular and/or TypeScript; React is also a plus.
- Experience working in payments or financial systems.
