Account Manager

HALO Branded Solutions

• Implement and execute sales projects that contribute to meeting targeted revenue growth plans for client accounts • Manage multiple projects with varying clients, timelines, priorities, costs and logistical complexities • Educate and guide clients regarding the company’s order and approval processes, quality standards and production timelines • Produce creative and accurate quotes and presentations using innovative product ideas to support the client’s branding approach and marketing goals • Understand industry specific manufacturing, production and decoration methods • Implement resourceful sourcing and quoting strategies, balancing the client’s and company’s business needs • Communicate project changes, order timelines and status updates to internal and external stakeholders • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while successfully managing and meeting client expectations • Proactively work with internal departments and operations resources to account for all aspects of project scope and adjusting as needed • Utilize internal teams, including Creative, Import, Compliance and HALO resources to bolster company and project value to clients • Expand strong business relationships with clients, internal resources and vendors • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotes, orders and art proofs • Generate reports to track open orders and billing progress

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in marketing, communications, business or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate marketing, related agency or project management role
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Business math experience
  • Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to deliver under deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong work ethic that supports working independently, under minimal supervision as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and well-reasoned judgment
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding client service
  • Curious, flexible and good humored with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to effectively provide, receive and respond positively to constructive feedback
  • Willing to proactively seek out information, training and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in this position
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems

Role Description We are looking for a candidate to provide excellent member service in the Northumberland, Peterborough, and Kawartha Lakes Regions. - Apply relationship selling and relationship management principles and techniques as a trusted advisor to local commercial and agricultural producers, business members, and prospects. - Accountable for risk management of the commercial loan portfolio, quality of information, analysis, profitability, and credit recommendations. - Maintain an effective business development and community involvement strategy to protect and expand share of profitable commercial and agriculture business. - Actively engage in the local agriculture and business community to build visibility and foster new business opportunities. - Attend and participate in industry events, networking groups, and local business associations to strengthen Kawartha’s presence. - Liaise with professional service providers such as Central 1, lawyers, real estate appraisers, credit reporting/collection agencies, and insurers. - Work co-operatively with all Credit Union branch or department personnel to identify opportunities to meet and exceed members' needs and expectations. - Retain and expand commercial and agricultural relationships to achieve portfolio retention, sales, service, and profitability objectives. - Complete annual credit reviews in a timely manner according to policy, coordinating financial information requirements with the Commercial Credit Funding Department. - Analyze information received to assess risk; develop action plans to minimize Credit Union exposure where appropriate. - Identify commercial and retail opportunities; review pricing and submit recommendations for renewal for approval. - Visit clients on a regular basis (at least annually) to ensure loan security is protected. Qualifications - Business related University Degree/College Diploma, or appropriate combination of Business, Agriculture, and lending related courses. - 1-5 years commercial lending experience. - Proven experience managing a diverse business portfolio, including small to medium-sized businesses and agricultural enterprises. - Knowledge of the Credit Union system would be an asset. - Able to be decisive and firm, while demonstrating empathy. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Negotiating skills. - Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills. - Excellent sales and service skills. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Must have a reliable vehicle as travelling is required for this position. Benefits - Rate of Pay: $1,159.61 - $2,028.28 per week (plus pension and applicable benefits). - Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
