Role Description We’re looking for an Outbound Account Executive to join our high-performing hospitality sales team in Asia-Pacific (APAC). This is a full-cycle role where you’ll build your own pipeline through prospecting, book meetings, and manage the entire sales process from initial outreach through to demo and close. - Identify and engage high-potential hospitality venues across Australia, building a strong pipeline through multi-channel outreach (calls, email, social). - Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, ensuring a seamless customer experience. - Deliver tailored product demos and act as a trusted advisor, positioning Lightspeed as a complete solution. - Lead pricing discussions and negotiations to drive strong commercial outcomes. - Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining accurate CRM data for forecasting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer success and business growth. - Stay on top of industry trends and continuously refine outreach strategies to improve performance. Qualifications - Prior experience in outbound sales, including cold calling, re-engaging leads, and converting conversations into meetings. - Ability to forecast pipeline and manage daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. - Proven track record of high performance in previous sales roles. - Strong motivation to grow your career. - Experience with Salesforce and the hospitality industry is a plus (not required). Role Description As an Account Manager at Lightspeed, you’ll be the go-to contact for a book of United States hospitality customers assigned to you. You will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with these accounts. With your knowledge of their objectives, you will be tasked with introducing them to Lightspeed’s suite of products and integrations to ensure they’re getting the best solution possible to help them achieve their goals. - Serve as the lead point of contact for your customers - Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms - Demonstrate software solutions to your customers, from core POS products to modules and upgrades - Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of your book of business - Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify accounts at risk and prevent churn - Track key book of business metrics like added MRR and net retention - Build strong customer advocacy, increasing customer empathy and understanding throughout the company - Contribute as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role Qualifications - 2-3 years of experience in an account management, sales development representative or similar role carrying a sales quota - Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment - Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline - Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance - Excellent written and verbal communication - Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives - Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning - Strong work ethic, and a self-driven desire to succeed - Strong task and time management Requirements - Compensation range: $40,000 to $43,000 USD, depending on the candidate’s location - Eligibility for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives - Variety of employee benefits including medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, 401K plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off Benefits - Medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance - 401K plan and match - Paid parental leave top-up - Paid time off Company Description Lightspeed is a proud equal opportunity employer and we are committed to creating an inclusive and barrier-free workplace.
