Role Description We are looking for a Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex architectural and engineering projects. This role requires a strong command of BIM software, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive quality and coordination across project stages. - Supervise and mentor modelers. - Ensure adherence to best practices, project standards, and timelines. - Proactively identify missing or conflicting information. - Manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently. - Conduct in-depth Quality Control reviews across assigned disciplines. - Influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines advanced modeling capabilities with solid experience overseeing documentation workflows, driving cross-disciplinary coordination, and proactively addressing complex technical challenges. This role calls for a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to lead with confidence and clarity. Qualifications - An excellent level of English, both spoken and written. - Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction. - Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto can also be considered but Navisworks will be prioritized). - A mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered but only if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves). Requirements - An excellent command of English—both spoken and written. - Engineering degree (civil or mechanical). - +5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects. - Skilled in QAQC, with the ability to anticipate issues by leveraging team members’ strengths and weaknesses. - Strong understanding of project end-to-end scope, kick-off and set up, requirements, applicable standards, and all related technical documentation. - Experience managing project budgets, with a strong focus on cost control and alignment with project objectives. - Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients. - Excellent communicational skills.
