Business Development/Capture Analyst

Role Description We are seeking a Business Development/Capture Analyst to support opportunity identification, capture execution, and proposal development across multiple federal programs. This is an entry-level analyst position intended for candidates seeking a career in federal business development, capture management, or proposal operations. The incumbent will work under the direction of senior Business Development and Capture leaders and will gain exposure to the full federal acquisition lifecycle. - Monitor federal opportunity sources such as SAM.gov, agency forecasts, FPDS, GovWin, and industry announcements - Assist with identification, qualification, and tracking of federal contracting opportunities aligned to SOI’s capabilities and SDVOSB status - Conduct customer, incumbent, and competitor research to support capture strategies - Assist in the preparation of: - Capture briefs and summaries - Win themes and discriminators - Competitive assessments and SWOT analyses - Support proposal development activities, including: - RFP analysis and summaries - Compliance matrices and requirements traceability - Past performance data collection - Maintain BD and capture data in internal systems and trackers - Prepare pipeline and capture status reports for leadership - Coordinate with operations, recruiting, pricing, and executive teams - Support industry day participation, capability briefings, and teaming activities - Perform other duties as assigned in support of business development and capture operations.
