About the Role As Product Analyst - Optimisation Team Lead, you will be a key team member of Central Culinary' team, plus a critical part in delivering incremental financial and non‑financial benefits to member clients through data‑driven analysis, culinary insight, and strong stakeholder engagement. You will act as the key conduit between Procurement, Culinary teams, and Compass Group Australia sectors, supporting menu development, tender responses, and optimisation initiatives while leading a small national culinary services team. Key Responsibilities - Perform net pricing, scenario, leakage, and inflation analysis. - Lead end‑to‑end SKU optimisation programs, from opportunity identification through to consultation, approval, and delivery - Deliver structured reporting on optimisation performance, benefits realised, and initiatives in progress - Provide culinary and commercial expertise to support product rationalisation, optimisation, and alternate recommendations - Partner with procurement teams on optimised product specifications for tenders and sourcing activities - Work closely with sector culinary teams to develop and validate menus - Manage national stakeholder relationships with Sector GMs and Executive Directors - Lead and develop a team of culinary services professionals - Support business development activity with commercial data, modelling, and supplier collateral What You'll Bring Essential: - Strong commercial and analytical capability with experience working with complex data - Sound understanding of pricing, costing, and commercial principles - Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, pivots, lookups) - Clear, professional communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement capability - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to timeframes Desirable: - Experience in procurement, sourcing, contracting, and culinary environments - Exposure to FMCG, food, catering, or hospitality industries - Experience with tools such as Tableau, SQL, or Access - Relevant tertiary qualification (STEM, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or similar) Ready to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career?
