We are looking for a talented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK based P&C Insurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers, building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline across both new and existing market segments. You will work directly with senior stakeholders - including managers, directors, and C level executives - within the insurance industry, helping to initiate meaningful commercial conversations around digital transformation and enterprise SaaS solutions. If you are skilled at uncovering business needs, building rapport with senior decision makers, and driving high quality pipeline, this role is built for you. Where you'll work: Remote - within UK. Please note that we are not offering visa/relocation support What you’ll do - Proactively identify, prospect, nurture, and qualify leads across targeted P&C insurance segments - Execute omnichannel lead nurturing and qualification cadences, including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling - Engage confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders, including managers and C level executives - Leverage sales technologies, automation, and AI enabled tools to improve productivity, insight, and execution quality - Accurately manage leads, activities, and account data within Salesforce and SalesLoft - Deliver well qualified opportunities to the sales team with clear business context and next steps - Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and pre sales to align messaging, campaigns, and target accounts - Consistently achieve (and aspire to exceed) quarterly and annual pipeline targets   What you’ll need - 2–3+ years of experience in a BDR or SDR role within SaaS (insurance or fintech experience strongly preferred) - Exposure to enterprise or digital transformation sales, ideally within regulated industries - Strong interest in technology, cloud, and SaaS business models - Excellent research and discovery skills, with a genuine curiosity for customer challenges - A structured, disciplined, and self motivated approach to managing your day and pipeline - High levels of resilience and persistence-comfortable handling rejection and maintaining momentum - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment - Comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic, and evolving organisation - Working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM) and ABM-focused sales motions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (essential) - Proven track record working for a Born‑in‑the‑Cloud or Cloud‑Native technology company Why Sapiens - Global, well established insurance technology leader with deep domain expertise - Exposure to complex, high value enterprise sales cycles - A collaborative, international, and inclusive culture - Opportunity to build a long term career in a growing SaaS organisation at the forefront of insurance transformation Sapiens is an equal opportunity employer. Role Description The Business Development Director, Global Strategic Account Program (GSAP), is responsible for leading the development of strategic global relationships from a variety of sources. Responsibilities include leading a Developmental Accounts Program by managing a portfolio of high-potential clients. Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, and location.
