• Acting as the focal point for all MongoDB-related issues within B2Tech, including reviewing any configuration or setup changes. • Maintain and support MongoDB databases in both Atlas & on-prem. • Maintain and support SQL Server & Postgres databases in both on-prem & AWS. • Monitor the system’s health and performance. • Minimize database downtime and manage HA/DR. • Plan for long term scalability and architecture planning. • Implement changes, apply patches and versions when required. • Be part of the DBA on-call cycle
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as MongoDB DBA (Infrastructure & applicative).
- 2+ years of experience as relational Database DBA (Infrastructure & applicative).
- 1+ years of experience in AWS
- Advanced T-SQL database development experience.
- Knowledge of Git and code management processes.
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity.
- Experience with tools like: dbatools, RedGate SQL Toolbelt, Coralogix .
- Experience with CI/CD would be beneficial.
- Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English.

Job Summary: Kymber Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Database Specialist to provide comprehensive contract data environment support to the FRTIB Acquisition Management Division. The Database Specialist will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the database infrastructure used to manage acquisition and contract data, developing analytical dashboards and reports, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across all systems. This role requires SME-level proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and SQL-based solutions. Responsibilities and Duties: - Extract and validate contract and procurement data from PRISM and related contract management systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all outputs to support reliable acquisition decision making. - Design and update database structures, forms, queries, and dashboards to meet evolving acquisition and contracting requirements, leveraging SQL Server, SharePoint Online lists and libraries, and the Microsoft Power Platform. - Develop and continuously refine interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights into acquisition pipeline status, contract execution rates, obligation and expenditure trends, and resource utilization. - Conduct functional and regression testing of all database modifications to verify accuracy, reliability, security, and compliance with agency standards prior to deployment. - Produce recurring contract data analytics reports and trend analyses on obligations, expenditures, and contract actions, identifying anomalies, compliance risks, and inefficiencies to strengthen oversight and improve contract execution. - Prepare and maintain thorough technical documentation for all database objects, workflows, integrations, and user guidance to support continuity of operations and knowledge transfer. - Respond to ad hoc data queries and analytical questions from Contracting Officers, CORs, and AMD leadership in support of timely decision making. - Provide advisory support and troubleshooting for database-related issues, leveraging proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and SQL-based solutions to optimize performance, usability, and scalability. - Assist in potential migration to a new integrated contract writing and financial management system, including creation of a legacy data repository to preserve historical records, ensure data integrity, and enable seamless access to archived information. - Compile and maintain an agency historical cost database to support development of increasingly informed pricing decisions over time.
