Makpar Corporation
• Provide advanced administration, engineering, and operational support for Microsoft SharePoint environments supporting Federal mission systems. • Responsible for the design, configuration, security, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of SharePoint content databases and supporting SQL Server or Azure SQL platforms in alignment with Federal cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance requirements. • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, data integrity, and secure access across SharePoint Server (on-premises) and SharePoint Online hybrid environments, supporting both development/modernization efforts and steady-state operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience administering SharePoint environments in enterprise or Federal Government IT environments
- At least 5 years supporting SharePoint databases (SharePoint Server and/or SharePoint Online back-end services) in production environments
- Experience supporting Federal agencies or regulated environments preferred
- Microsoft SharePoint Server and/or SharePoint Online administration
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (on-prem and/or Azure SQL)
- Database backup, restore, replication, and performance tuning
- PowerShell scripting for SharePoint and database automation
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or hybrid environments
- Understanding of SharePoint service architecture (Search, User Profile, Managed Metadata, etc.)
- Familiarity with Power Platform dependencies on SharePoint data
- Experience supporting systems subject to NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, OMB, and CDM
- Participation in ATO packages, security assessments, and continuous monitoring activities
- Experience supporting agencies such as IRS, DOJ, DHS, VA, or other civilian/DoD organizations (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent experience may be substituted in accordance with contract labor category requirements
- Microsoft Certified: SQL Server / Azure Database Administration (or successor role-based certification)
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Certification (legacy or current role-based equivalents)
- ITIL Foundation
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Federal security or cloud certifications aligned to FedRAMP/NIST environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / Moderate or High-Risk Background Investigation
- U.S. Citizenship required (as applicable per RFP)
