About the Role: CrowdStrike is seeking a Corporate Sales Engineer passionate about the cybersecurity space to focus on pre-sales within our Small to Midsize Business (SMB) segment. You will work closely with Account Executives in this position to acquire new customers. This involves presenting our products to prospective clients to increase the likelihood of closing sales. You will be part of a team dedicated to changing customer perception of endpoint technology by articulating the limitations and failures of current, legacy security solutions and demonstrating the value of our next-generation offering. This role is 100% remote for Talent located in the United States. What You’ll Do: - Be the expert in endpoint security space – eg. AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc. - Comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems - Communicate fundamental security challenges to a wide range of stakeholders - Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently - Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers - Conduct demonstrations and proof of values with the ability to present technical concepts to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executives - Effective time management and organizational skills a must What You’ll Need: - Bachelor’s degree in technical studies with 2+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineering - Ability to travel minimally as required (potentially travel 2-3 a year to the annual GTM Offsite, Fal.con, and customer visits.) - Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis. - Ability to write and modify basic scripts.
