Job DetailsJob Location: Bensalem, PA 18020REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE Unicorr Packaging Group, a family-owned leading manufacturer of corrugated and protective packaging, seeks a self-motivated and highly energetic Regional Sales Representative to lead our business in the greater Springfield, MA area, including Western MA. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit interested in unlimited sales potential. Position Summary The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for selling corrugated and protective packaging products within a designated sales territory. The representative must develop new sales with prospective customers as well as maintain and grow existing accounts. The representative must uphold the very highest level of professionalism and customer service. Responsibilities New business development – identify and determine potential opportunities from cold calls, networking, marketing leads, and other sources as well as qualify prospective customers and secure new business Conduct presentations and develop proposals Sell and service existing accounts, maintaining consistent and ongoing contact. This includes assisting in collection of Accounts Receivable and being willing to complete site inventory on a regular basis Work to increase volume and improve margins on existing business accounts Proactively manage customer projects to ensure customer needs are understood and met, including assisting with design, development and specifications, conducting plant trials and following up on customer requests Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities and identify alternative means to provide value to a prospect or customer Develop partnership level relationship with customers and prospects at all levels of their organization Gain a thorough understanding of product offerings, manufacturing processes, and pricing strategies Work remotely with limited supervision or interaction with management, remaining self-initiated and motivated to deliver high-quality results for the region Manage territory travel to optimize interaction with customers Keep a close watch to develop market intelligence (best practices, trends, segmentation, competition, etc.) and share it within the organization Other duties as assigned by sales management QualificationsKnowledge and Skills The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of sustained, profitable sales growth with a focus on customer service, value creation and general market awareness. Unicorr is also willing to develop and train a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills who has recently received their Bachelor’s degree or is new to the industry and/or sales. Proven history of successfully selling a value-added portfolio of products and opening and managing accounts Strong track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives Demonstrated ability to view problems, issues and needs from a customer’s perspective and then using creative problem solving techniques and a consultative sales approach to identify appropriate solutions Effective internal and external communication skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening Excellent interpersonal skills Commitment to outstanding customer service Demonstrated ability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing marketplace Integrity and personal accountability Creativity Initiative and self-motivation with a high level of drive and energy Demonstrated organizational, time management and prioritization skills Demonstrated ability to maintain customer activity reports Qualifications At least 3 years of business to business experience preferred 2-3 years industrial sales experience strongly preferred A Bachelor’s Degree Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferred proficiency in Salesfore.com or similar tools A valid US driver's license Must be willing and able to travel to customers in local market Physical Requirements In order to successfully complete the essential functions of the position, the candidate will frequently be required to travel to and tour customer facilities, remain in a stationary position in an office setting, communicate verbally with co-workers and customers both in person and on the phone, visually evaluate customer specification documents to ensure accuracy of product delivery, and move, position, and/or transport products and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. which may include stooping or bending.
