As a Director, Study Start Up at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of inNvative treatments and therapies. What you will be doing - Leading and managing the Study Start Up team to ensure efficient and timely initiation of clinical trials. - Developing and implementing strategies for optimizing study start-up timelines and processes. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the study start-up phase. - Overseeing the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and approvals. - Providing expertise and guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices related to study start-up activities. Your profile - Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field; advanced degree preferred. - Extensive experience in clinical research, with a focus on study start-up activities. - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. - Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines governing clinical trials. - Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment. Position Summary We are searching for a Regional Director to join the Central regional sales team (inclusive of Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Western PA) providing field sales coverage to various intermediary clients in the advisor marketplace. Essential Job Duties - As part of a two person Regional Director team, the mandate is to develop new and build upon existing relationships within the territory, with a focus on underpenetrated and underserved parts of the market (e.g. Independent and Regional Broker Dealer channel – a key area of expansion and growth for Ares). - The strategy includes developing a firm/branch rotation, implementing business plans around focus firms, and identifying business opportunities, a proactive call rotation, face-to-face meetings and consultative approach providing value-added services - Work in conjunction with the broader distribution organization and Sales Associates to develop a plan to generate greater sales, higher asset levels and improved client service - Thoroughly understand and communicate Ares’ investment philosophy, process, objectives, and positioning - Develop and implement marketing plans for assigned clients.
