Data Analyst

• Analyze detailed claims data from internal claims processing system and external sources in various formats • Critical thinker that is comfortable supporting collaborative problem solving in a team environment • Benchmark, validate and test the solution for real-world environments • Develop analytic solutions to meet operational/strategic business needs, including contributing to new projects, while supporting and enhancing existing solutions • Assist in defining, developing, designing, prototyping, testing, and supporting the implementation of analytics • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across models and reports • Translate business requirement into actionable intelligence to business leaders • Work closely with solution architects to design scalable, efficient data solutions that support large datasets • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data pipelines, and data visualization tools • Adhering to RxBenefits’s Information Security Management System as well as all other company policies • Driven self-starter who is creative and results oriented; manages multiple priorities and deadlines • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless development and implementation of analytics features and ability to report on progress to executive leaders as needed • Collaborate with data engineers, technology architects and product developers to design data pipelines, models, and visualizations • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ relevant experience
  • 2+ years development experience with SQL, some familiarity with Snowflake preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Ability to think critically; Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data models and statistical outputs into actionable insights for executives and business leaders
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey results, methodology, assumptions etc.
  • Track record of successful project delivery
  • Collaboration and communication skills with cross-team problem solving ability
  • Demonstrated data visualization literacy and the ability to select visualizations appropriate for a given business need
  • Good working knowledge of designing, building and supporting data Visualizations that deliver business insights and drive decision making for the business.
