Job Description Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer Locations: 100% Remote About the Role SS&C is building a unified Sales Data Lake to consolidate 6+ Salesforce instances and disparate tools across 40+ acquired business units ($96T AUM) into a single source of truth on AWS. You will design ETL pipelines, define infrastructure as code, implement entity resolution for a Unified Client 360, and build executive dashboards—all within a security-first engineering culture. You will be trained on Claude Code as part of our AI-augmented engineering program.. How You Will Make an Impact - Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) to ingest, transform, and load data from Salesforce and proprietary sources into Amazon Redshift - Author and manage all cloud infrastructure with Terraform (modules, state management, CI/CD), provisioning Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, and KMS - Implement AWS Entity Resolution to deduplicate and link client records across Salesforce tenants, building matching workflows with confidence scoring at enterprise scale - Build interactive QuickSight dashboards and internal web applications (React + Python/Node.js) for pipeline monitoring and consolidated sales intelligence - Implement data classification, encryption, access controls, and SIEM integration aligned with Salesforce hardening standards (SSO/MFA, OAuth, API throttling) - Adopt Claude Code for AI-augmented development, progressing through SS&C’s Copilot → Navigator → Autopilot competency tiers Required Experience - BS in CS, Data Engineering, or related field - 5+ yrs cloud data engineering; 3+ yrs AWS - AWS Glue (PySpark), Redshift, S3, IAM proficiency - Production Terraform experience (modules, state) - Full-stack: Python + React/Vue + REST APIs - Salesforce data models & integration APIs - Data modeling, warehousing, quality frameworks - Security: IAM, encryption, VPC, compliance controls Preferred - AWS certs (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics) - AWS Entity Resolution / Lake Formation / MDM - Financial services / SOC 2 / SOX environment - QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker experience - Kubernetes (EKS) & container orchestration - AI dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) - Multi-tenant SaaS or M&A tech integration - CASB, DLP, cloud security monitoring Join SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 140000 USD to 150000 USD.
