Senior Managed Service Security Administrator

• Perform ongoing policy and rule management, console configuration management, health checks (policy effectiveness reviews/ false positives etc.), policy upgrades, solution health monitoring & use case consultations. • Perform customer case management including timely response and status updates, effective escalations, and documentation of action plan and steps taken to achieve service level objectives. • Perform any required configuration changes to MSP systems • Direct customer interaction to facilitate the troubleshooting and artifact collection for diagnosis. • Liaise with customers, as well as perform effective and timely case resolution. • Participate actively in training to maintain a working knowledge of the products and their operation, configuration and available functionality. • Perform application and forensic reporting tasks including archive recovery, data export, customer report execution and integration setup. • Follow change management process support by providing clear documentation of planned actions and their status and result. • Perform proactive actions such as monitoring key systems & service health metrics e.g. resource utilization tracking, job status monitoring and issue resolution. • Work with cross functional team to deliver secure, stable and supportable infrastructure

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience providing direct customer technical application support in a large scale SAAS, Cloud or customer facing managed services environments.
  • 2+ years’ experience with implementing and managing Digital Guardian solutions and developing rules/ policies
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, management information systems or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated Multiplatform fluency with Linux, OSX and MS Windows
  • Familiarity with VMware/HyperV virtualization technologies sufficient to facilitate the access, setup and management of predefined templated environments for testing, triage and production application support.
  • Working knowledge of Systems Scripting (PowerShell ,VBS, batch or similar)
  • Competency with Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems user function, administration and trouble shooting.
  • Solid prioritization and time management and logical problem identification and diagnosis skills.
  • Windows MSI and Shell Script installation package construction (.pkg) for Linux and OSX.
  • Basic knowledge of MSSQL and Database concepts and backup/recovery methodology.
  • Prior work interfacing with Microsoft Dynamics365 or similar case management services.
  • Excellent customer expectation management and communication skills.
  • Use of remote meeting and access utilities to facilitate customer interaction.

What You'll Do: The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking an experienced individual for a BCI Special Agent vacancy in the Cyber Crime Unit of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Section. This position will be based out of the London office with opportunities for remote working. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, known as BCI, is the state’s official crime lab serving the criminal justice community and protecting Ohio families. BCI also provides expert criminal investigative services to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies upon request. With offices throughout the state, BCI stands ready to respond 24/7 to local law enforcement agencies’ needs at no cost to the requesting agency. Staff at BCI work every day to provide the highest level of service. This includes special agents who are on call 24/7 to offer investigative assistance at crime scenes, knowledgeable scientists and forensic specialists using cutting-edge technology to process evidence to bring criminals to justice, and criminal intelligence analysts and identification specialists who help local law enforcement solve cases. Experienced special agents, forensic scientists, and other law enforcement experts staff BCI's three main divisions: 1) Identifications 2) Investigations and 3) Laboratory. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Serves as case agent assuming responsibility for conducting overt and/or covert cyber-oriented criminal investigations. - Conducts forensic examinations of computers and data storage devices (applicants should have prior knowledge of, and experience with, computer forensic techniques and forensic analytical software) - Conducts data extraction from mobile data devices such as cellular telephones and tablet devices (applicants should have prior knowledge of, and experience with, mobile device data extraction and analytical methodologies) - Performs various tasks in the field such as disassembling digital devices for on-site data acquisition; forensically previewing electronic devices; seizing devices and digital media; and interviewing subjects, victims and witnesses. - Conducts raids, searches and surveillance. - Makes arrests. - Gathers, evaluates and forwards criminal intelligence information. - Completes and submits investigative reports for criminal and/or administrative actions. - Serves as liaison to and works in cooperation with local, state, federal and other law enforcement/investigatory agencies. - Provides courtroom evidence and testifies in court. - Confers with prosecuting attorneys. - Delivers speeches or presentations to specialized audiences and/or general public. - Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social sciences (e.g., criminology, sociology, psychology), computer science, computer forensics or other field commensurate to the Cyber Crime Unit; 2 years' experience in cybercrime investigations with a law enforcement agency; OPOTC peace officer certification or equivalent peace officer certification (e.g., another state, another government agency, military) and valid driver's license. -OR 2 years' experience as a BCI Investigator -OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using X-ways, FTK, and/or Encase forensic platforms; Experience using Cellebrite UFED/Physical Analyzer, Magnet Forensics Axiom, or other similar data extraction and parsing tools.
