We are looking for an experienced commercial technician to run service calls and troubleshoot/repair HVAC and refrigeration in and around the Knoxville area. Some light electrical, food equipment and other maintenance trades will be dispatched from time to time. Company provided vehicle will be dispatched from technician's home (no requirement to come to central office to get vehicle) via web based (provided) tablet. Qualified individuals should have the ability to work independently with good judgment and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. • Provide direct sales and technical services to customers within an industrial environment. • With a hands-on approach, the incumbent will respond to customer calls, plan and conduct trials at customer sites for the introduction of new and/or improved products. • Deliver training to the end user and respond to all customer calls in a timely manner in which he or she may need to provide on-site trouble shooting assistance and work to develop or improve upon existing products, systems, and methods. • Seek sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Provide feedback to design teams as the end user representative; communicating deficiencies, desired updates, and configuration change requests of product. • Evaluate, track and maintain effective inventory levels at all customer sites, where access to inventory is permitted by the customer. • Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customers Purchase Orders are correct and submitted on a timely basis. • Monitor on a routine basis the financial health of all customers (including: projected product utilization, account aging, etc.) by monitoring the central computer customer data-base trend analysis.
