Bookkeeper & Accounting Support Specialist – (Multi-Client) Location: Remote (Work from Home) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (PST, CST, EST) Compensation: $1,250/month for the first 90 days / $1,500/month after a successful 90-day review About the Role This is not a slow, back-office accounting role where things can wait until next week. This is clean books, tight deadlines, and real ownership over financial accuracy. If numbers being off bothers you and you take pride in reconciling everything down to the cent, you’ll fit right in. If you need constant follow-up or let deadlines slip, this role will feel heavy fast. This role owns the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial operations across one or multiple businesses. You’ll handle day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure clean, reliable books that business owners and finance teams can trust. By keeping records organized and up to date, you directly support better decision-making and eliminate the chaos caused by late or inaccurate financials. • Audit and analysis of functional needs: Paired with the Partner Solutions Architect, plan, prepare and conduct meetings with accounting firms, from kickoff to post-implementation review (Retex), including briefings, scoping sessions and debriefs. • Migration project management: Paired with the Partner Solutions Architect, ensure migrations follow a clear, determined path for all stakeholders, both internal and external. • Business preparation and configuration: Assist with configuring Pennylane solutions to adapt to clients' existing business processes, working closely with technical teams. • Integration and post-migration support: Work with technical teams to ensure interfaces and integrations operate according to business requirements. • Acceptance testing and post-migration analysis: Conduct intermediate and final functional tests to validate that solutions meet business needs. • Business process automation and optimization: Identify and prioritize automation needs and processes to implement or improve. • Management and evolution of data solutions: Identify and escalate, based on field feedback, the data needs that will provide better insight into projects. • Research and development: Maintain product and business monitoring to ensure the product continuously delivers relevant features. • Front/Back collaboration: Understand the issues and tasks of the PSS - Back team and be able to intervene in production on occasion.
