Senior Project Manager

Role Description Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office (PMO), the Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the PMO portfolio, with a particular emphasis on cloud-enabled solutions and digital transformation initiatives. This role ensures projects are defined, managed, executed, and delivered in a timely and successful agile manner within time, scope, and budget constraints. - Lead and manage cloud, digital, and technology-enabled projects from initiation through closure. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using Microsoft Project Professional and Web Application. - Track and report project status, KPIs, performance metrics, risks, dependencies, and value realization. - Manage projects supporting cloud adoption, application modernization, data platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. - Collaborate with the Director, PMO, and ACGME and IS leaders to plan and implement digital transformation initiatives. - Partner with business and IS stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements and delivery plans. - Integrate change management, communication, training, and adoption planning activities into all digital and cloud project plans. - Identify, manage, and mitigate technical, organizational, and adoption risks. - Apply PMO standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. - Work with PMO, IS, and departmental staff to identify, document, and adhere to project requirements. - Collaborate with resource managers to ensure the availability and allocation of necessary project resources. - Coordinate project planning and execution with vendors, system integrators, and cloud service providers. - Oversee and manage multiple projects within the digital transformation and IS Department simultaneously. - Support the creation and editing of templates, guidelines, and procedures. - Continuously assess and enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools. - Facilitate PMO communication and knowledge transfer. - Mentor and guide junior project managers. - Assist the PMO Director in identifying, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates. - Coordinate the efforts of project team members and third-party contractors or consultants. - Manage vendor relationships, ensuring PMO standards are met. - Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and delivery practices. - Perform additional PMO-related responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Minimum of seven years of relevant project or program management experience. - Experience managing complex, cross-functional technology projects with significant cloud or digital components. - Demonstrated experience supporting organizational change and digital transformation initiatives. - Five years of experience developing business requirements and supporting process reengineering or automation efforts. - Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Requirements - Experience delivering cloud migration, application modernization, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives. - Project management experience in health care or graduate medical education. - PMP, Agile, or cloud-related certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Azure, or AWS). The Project Manager/Programme Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of a novel new approach to ND pathways involving cross-functional teams, customers and internal/external executive level stakeholders The role ensures that the project delivers on time, to specification and meets customers expectations.
