Role Description We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work across all parts of our platform. This is a full-stack individual contributor role. You'll build features end to end, from the React frontend through the Node.js backend, down to PostgreSQL schema design and AWS infrastructure. You'll work on things like real-time shipment visibility, AI-powered data extraction, TMS integration workflows, and the APIs that tie it all together. You'll work closely with Product, Design, and other engineers to understand the problem, decide on the approach, and own the outcome. We look for engineers who are curious about the full context of what they're building and why, and who thrive when given the autonomy to figure out the best path forward. This role reports to the CTO. What You'll Do - Build Across Both Products - Ship features across the full platform, from customer-facing visibility dashboards to operator-facing AI-assisted workflows. - Work in our TypeScript monorepos: React frontends (Vite, MUI, tRPC) and Node.js backend services across Express, PostGraphile/GraphQL, and tRPC. - Design and own database schema changes in PostgreSQL: migrations, query performance, data modeling for complex logistics domains. - Integrations & Workflow Orchestration - Build and maintain durable integration workflows using Temporal.io that connect with TMS platforms (CargoWise, Descartes, McLeod, and others). - Work with event-driven patterns across SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, and Lambda to process shipment data, documents, and notifications at scale. - Design integrations that are resilient to the realities of third-party systems: inconsistent APIs, XML payloads, FTP-based file exchanges, and unpredictable response times. - Infrastructure & Reliability - Contribute to our multi-region AWS infrastructure (us-west-2, us-east-2, eu-west-3) using Terraform and Spacelift. - Improve observability and reliability using Datadog (APM, traces, dashboards), Sentry, and structured logging. - Participate in incident response and own the reliability of the systems you build. - Team & Culture - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and design reviews. - Mentor other engineers, both in the US and in India, and raise the bar on code quality, testing, and operational practices. - Communicate clearly and asynchronously. Qualifications - 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent building and operating production SaaS applications. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js. - Deep experience with React and modern frontend tooling (Vite, TanStack Query, component libraries, state management). - Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL. - Experience building and operating services on AWS. - Comfort working in monorepo environments. - Strong testing discipline: unit tests (Jest/Vitest), integration tests against real databases, and E2E tests (Cypress). - Clear communication skills. - High ownership. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration engines (Cadence, Step Functions, Airflow). - Familiarity with GraphQL: particularly PostGraphile, code generation tooling, or Apollo/URQL clients. - Experience with tRPC for type-safe API layers. - Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform. - Background in logistics, supply chain, or freight tech. - Experience with AI/ML integration. - Experience with feature flags (LaunchDarkly), observability platforms (Datadog), or multi-region deployments. • Perform signal integrity (SI) simulations using tools such as HyperLynx, HFSS, or CST • Identify and resolve issues related to crosstalk, signal loss, reflections, and other performance degradations in high-speed designs. • Analyze PCB layout designs to ensure optimal signal performance, providing feedback and recommendations to layout and hardware design teams. • Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize high-speed signal paths, ensuring adherence to specifications for interfaces like DDR5, PCIe, USB4, SerDes, and Ethernet. • Evaluate and validate signal integrity for power delivery networks (PDN) to minimize noise, ground bounce, and power/ground integrity issues. • Work closely with PCB layout, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure design choices align with signal integrity best practices. • Develop and implement test strategies for verifying signal integrity on prototypes and final products using tools like oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNA), and time domain reflectometry (TDR). • Create and maintain signal integrity design guidelines, best practices, and checklists to support hardware engineers throughout the product development lifecycle. • Diagnose and resolve SI issues during the bring-up phase of new products, ensuring minimal impact on time-to-market.

• Perform engineering functions, including investigations, evaluations, calculations, and specifications, for design and drafting projects • Develop engineering drawings, designs, and documentation for small to medium-sized projects • Apply engineering techniques and procedures to assignments requiring independent judgment and technical expertise • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other engineers to define project scope, monitor progress, and review deliverables • Supervise the collection of field data, vendor information, and other resources necessary for project execution • Coordinate design efforts to meet client specifications, project budgets, and schedules • Ensure designs meet applicable standards, including: 49 CFR Part 192: Federal safety standards for natural gas pipelines, ASME B31.8: Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems, ASME B31: General pressure piping standards • Perform quality control checks on designs, calculations, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance • Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing • Assist in developing and refining project workflows, design templates, and standards

• Utilize first principle methods and design tools to develop new aircraft products • Own development of primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies (metallic and composite) from preliminary design through prototype manufacturing • Perform complex modeling and finite element analysis at the detailed component level, major assembly level, and aircraft level (analysis simulations to include strength, buckling, damage tolerance, and delamination) • Apply design for manufacturing concepts to create solutions that are cost effective and easy to manufacture at rate • Conduct trade studies and perform design and analysis research of complex engineering concepts to determine an optimal solution for weight, performance, manufacturability, cost, and/or schedule • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment to solve complex, open-ended problems with an emphasis on schedule and cost objectives • Coordinate work with mechanical systems, systems integration, aerodynamics, manufacturing, project engineering, and other team members • Onsite engineering support at manufacturing and integration sites
