The OhioHealth College Student Intern will be responsible for supporting the activities and projects of the department, assist management and other staff members in a specific department with a variety of tasks including projects, special events and daily activities. Responsibilities And Duties: Project Coordination: Assists management and other staff in completion of various projects and long-term assignments. Information Gathering: Aids staff by gathering pertinent information to complete a project or task assigned. Information is gathered from internal and external sources such as the Internet. Responsible for compiling information gathered into a presentation format. Provides other assistance and completes assignments specific to department as directed by management. Develop and assist in the implementation of communication plans, including writing support and tactic implementation. Support internal events as needed. Develop and update the OhioHealth intranet. Manage design projects through our project management system. Participate in team meetings and workshops. Ability to work across teams and departments on various projects. Description of Work The Nursing Home Surveyor (Nurse Consultant I) position involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state federal and state requirements through inspections. Job responsibilities include: • Surveying nursing homes during routine surveys and complaint investigations. • Completing survey reports, including statements of deficiency and complaint allegation findings. Must pass the Federal Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) after training. This is a home-based position servicing Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties region. The Nursing Home Surveyor spends an average of three days per week in nursing homes conducting inspections. Occasionally inspections are required on weekends and night shift. Although management attempts to schedule inspections within a region, the consultant needs to expect overnight stays when the nursing home is greater than 60 miles from their home-base. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $62,044 - $102,371 Recruitment Range: $62,044 - $80,000 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. This role partners closely with Product Management and the Data Science Leader to rapidly design, prototype, and ship AI-driven features that deliver measurable business value.
