Data Governance Analyst / Data Quality Analyst

We are looking for a Data Governance / Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives by improving data integrity, defining governance standards, and partnering with business stakeholders. This role blends hands-on data analysis with governance framework development. Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months Key Responsibilities:• Perform data profiling, analysis, and database research to identify critical data elements• Design and implement data quality rules, controls, and monitoring/reporting processes• Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and documentation• Partner with business and data owners to define data structures, lineage, and common definitions• Utilize SQL and/or Python for data exploration and validation• Support implementation and use of tools such as Collibra, Soda, and Databricks Unity Catalog• Provide guidance to stakeholders on data governance best practices Required Skills & Experience:• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data governance, or business process development• Strong SQL and/or Python skills for data analysis and profiling• Experience with data governance and data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Soda, Databricks)• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Experience:• Industry experience in healthcare, life sciences, and/or financial services• Experience implementing data governance tools and frameworks• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data product ownership Education:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
