Job DetailsTemporary Attorney (IV) Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Temporary Attorney (IV) to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct first review of PERM applications, I-140s (PERM-based, Extraordinary Ability, and Multinational Manager), and I-148s. Draft, review and/or revise petitions/applications, PERM Labor Certification audit responses and RFEs for filing with USCIS. Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents. Assess and evaluate client’s immigrant visa eligibility. Utilize web-based immigration case management systems and database continuously and accurately. Qualification Requirements: 3-5 years of business immigration attorney work experience U.S. Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) Member of a state bar and in good standing with the associated state bar association Ability to manage complex case strategies with company contacts and clients Understanding of nuanced and complex immigration law concepts. Ability to review Paralegal work product carefully and promptly Effective written and verbal communications skills, as appropriate for the needs of the audience (clients, governmental agencies, internal and external resources) Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems Strong organizational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritize Ability to generate work product with considerable accuracy and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Outstanding case/project management skills Works well in a team environment Accepts and adapts to feedback regarding work performance Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; and Case Management Systems – Salesforce (Litify), VisaTrax/INS Zoom and other Document Management Systems. The American Family Insurance Legal Department is seeking an experienced Coverage Counsel who has demonstrated the ability to multi-task, work independently and in team settings, and deliver results. You will provide legal support for the Claims departments at the American Family companies.
