What you'll do - Be a key member of the Futures Clearing Operations team, responsible for full lifecycle management from execution through settlement and expiration. - Be responsible for the daily execution of all operationally critical activities related to Futures, including trade and position reconciliations, settlements, expiration processing, and cash and collateral movements. - Take ownership of critical trade and position reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks across internal systems, clearing workflows, and counterparties. - Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Futures settlement workflows, margin impacts, and lifecycle events. - Partner cross-functionally with Margin and Risk Remediation teams to monitor exposures and strengthen operational controls. - Support in UAT testing and production validation for new product launches, system enhancements, and workflow improvements. - Troubleshoot, manage, and proactively resolve reconciliation differences while maintaining strong risk awareness and accuracy. - Use data to identify inefficiencies, propose automation opportunities, and help scale back-office processes to support product growth. - Develop and enhance processes and controls to improve operational resiliency and efficiency. Skills you bring - Have 3+ years of experience at a broker-dealer, clearing firm, exchange, or fintech company handling back-office reconciliations and settlement responsibilities. Experience with derivatives, options or Futures. - Experience at a CIRO-regulated dealer is preferred. - Have direct experience managing trade and position reconciliations, expiration processing, and settlement workflows. - Demonstrate a strong ownership mindset — you proactively identify issues, drive resolution end-to-end, and continuously improve processes. - Are highly organized with strong attention to detail and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. - Have strong Excel skills; experience with SQL or other programming/scripting languages is a plus. - Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and thrive in a cross-functional environment. - Have completed or are pursuing relevant industry courses (CSC, DFOL, derivatives licensing, etc.) are preferred. - Available to support early and late hours on rotating shifts as required by market events and settlement cycles. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures. - Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information. - Verify that vendor orders are complete, invoices are received and in the applicant’s E-file. - Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times. - Assist set-up of loans. - Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log. - Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel. - Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage investors. - Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed. Qualifications and Skills: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience. - Experience with Encompass. - Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including but not limited to Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents, preferred. - Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows. - Excellent math and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
