Industrial Engineer – Automotive

SEGULA Technologies

• Optimize vehicle assembly processes across Trim, Chassis, and Final Assembly • Conduct time studies and process studies to improve operational efficiency • Perform line balancing activities using MTM-UAS • Support line trials, ramp-up activities, and process validation • Analyze takt time and propose improvements to enhance production flow • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and manufacturing engineering • Support implementation and follow-up of process improvements on the shop floor • Prepare and present reports, analysis, and recommendations using Excel and PowerPoint • Contribute to operational excellence and manufacturing performance targets

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industrial engineering role
  • Strong experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environments is preferred
  • MTM-UAS certification is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of Time Study, Work Measurement, and Line Balancing
  • Good understanding of Takt Time optimization
  • Familiarity with PLM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to Digital Manufacturing tools is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support for F/A-18 E/F Aircraft at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers. Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements. Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment. Position Responsibilities: - With agreement of leadership for Boeing-North Island (B-NI)- F/A-18 SLM Management and BGS Field Operations, the FSR's primary mission will be to provide direct support to B-NI F/A-18 SLM - Provide on-site assistance to B-NI F/A-18 SLM Flight Operations Mechanics (FOM) and management to solve difficult system maintenance problems & troubleshooting - Primary POC daily for taskings will be the B-NI F/A-18 SLM Technical Integrator.
