We are looking for a Data Migration & Data Quality Specialist - Real Estate Systems (Czech Republic and UK) to our key projects designing innovation tools, training and experiences. This role is offered on a full-time freelance basis for an initial duration of 18–24 months, with a strong possibility of extension. Tasks and Responsibilities - Support the implementation of a global real estate system (SAP / Planon) through hands-on data migration and data quality activities. - Analyze source data provided by external vendors (e.g., CBRE), ensuring completeness, consistency, and usability. - Define and execute data mapping between source and target systems, including both field-level and value-level mappings. - Develop and apply data-driven transformation rules to align legacy data with target system requirements. - Validate data loads and ensure overall data readiness for SAP / Planon deployment. - Identify, document, and track data defects, inconsistencies, and missing inputs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. - Support testing phases, including data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with global stakeholders while maintaining ownership of assigned data activities. - Work independently with a high level of accountability, ensuring deliverables are completed without the need for close supervision. - Participate in occasional on-site alignment meetings in Prague as required.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in data migration, data quality, or data analysis within complex system implementations.
- Strong technical and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to data handling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with structured data sets.
- Experience handling vendor-provided data extracts and understanding their structure and limitations.
- Solid understanding of source vs. target system responsibilities within data migration processes.
- Experience with data transformation tools or frameworks (e.g., PySpark, Databricks is a plus).
- High attention to detail, with the ability to document issues clearly and follow through to resolution.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a self-driven manner.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global project environment.
- SAP experience is a strong advantage; Planon experience is highly valued.
- Experience in real estate data domains (e.g., lease, space, asset data) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Attaccama) is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to be based in the Czech Republic with occasional presence in Prague.
- Candidates must declare criminal record extract not older than three months
