Product Management Technical Expert

Allstate

Product Management (Technical) Expert remote type Fully Remote locations USA - IL (Remote) time type Full time job requisition id R26396 At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection. Job Description As a Digital Product Manager Expert, you’ll be responsible for owning, modernizing, and evolving a core Policy Administration system of record within Allstate Dealer Services (ADS). This role requires deep ownership of the policy lifecycle, including product configuration, rating, issuance, endorsements, billing, servicing, and downstream integrations. You will lead the migration of a legacy monolithic Policy Administration platform onto Allstate’s C3 target state architecture, coordinating across multiple engineering, platform, and business teams inside and outside of ADS. In parallel, you will deliver new warranty and extended vehicle service contract products and capabilities required to support business growth. Successful candidates demonstrate strong system level thinking, can reason step by step through complex transactional workflows, and are comfortable operating close to technical detail while remaining accountable for business outcomes. This role requires rapid ramp up as a subject matter expert in ADS products, dealership finance and warranty workflows, and B2B distribution models. Key Responsibilities - Lead legacy‑to‑C3 platform migration efforts, including migration sequencing, parity validation, cutover readiness, and post‑migration stabilization. - Partner closely with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to reason through data models, effective‑dated transactions, integrations, and system behavior. - Decompose complex policy and platform problems into technically precise user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly express business rules and edge cases. - Balance migration work with delivery of new product features and enhancements required by dealership, agent, and operational partners. - Use customer, dealer, agent, and operational feedback—along with data analysis—to drive prioritization and product decisions. - Define and manage metrics to measure platform health, correctness, and product outcomes during and after migration. - Act as the voice of the customer and the business, investing time with dealerships, agents, and internal partners to understand workflows, constraints, and opportunities. - Manage and prioritize the product backlog, providing clear direction and timely feedback to engineering teams during delivery. - Collaborate across ADS, C3 platform teams, and other enterprise stakeholders to align dependencies and delivery timelines. Experience - 8+ years of product management or product ownership experience (preferred). - Direct experience with Policy Administration systems. - Strong understanding of warranty or insurance products, including policy lifecycle concepts, rating logic, and regulated transactional systems preferred. - Experience with extended vehicle service contracts, dealership Finance & Insurance (F&I) operations, or B2B distribution models is a strong plus. - Proven ownership of large‑scale platform or data‑critical migrations, not just feature re‑platforming. Skills Policy Administration Systems, Systems of Record, Technical Product Management, Data Modeling Concepts, Effective‑Dated Transactions, Migration Strategy, Cutover Planning, Backlog Decomposition, Technical User Story Writing, Cross‑Team Coordination, B2B Product Strategy, Warranty/Insurance Products, Problem Identification, Problem Investigation, Product Direction, Product Roadmapping, Systems Thinking Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. Skills Business Case Analyses, Business Roadmaps, Communication, Create User Stories, Data Tracking, Problem Identification, Problem Investigation, Product Direction, Production Strategy, Product Management, Product Management Strategy, Product Roadmapping, Product Strategies, Product Vision, Systems Thinking, User Studies Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $120,000.00 - $180,100.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. *** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role. The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation. Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity. One that takes your skills and pushes them to the next level. One that encourages you to challenge the status quo. One where you can shape the future of protection while supporting causes that mean the most to you. Joining our team means being part of something bigger – a winning team making a meaningful impact.

Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators. We are hiring a Principal Product Manager (Individual Contributor) to own and evolve our Pre-Press and Editorial (PP&E) technology platforms. PP&E represents the software and workflows responsible for transforming creative intent and strategic data into print-ready assets that ultimately become physical trading cards. Principal Product Manager is our most senior IC Product role, and the role will have exceptionally high ownership and autonomy. This individual will work within our product and technology team and external vendors to tackle some of the most complex, ambiguous, and high-leverage problems in the PP&E workflow. What You’ll Do - Own the Pre-Press and Editorial product portfolio that turns card concepts into print-ready files, including software across workflows such as mastering and asset ingestion, image selection, cropping and editing, card composition, imposition, and handoff to manufacturing. - Decide how work gets done across this portfolio, including when to build new software, stabilize or refactor existing systems, or integrate with third-party and vendor platforms. - Simplify and automate highly manual, error-prone workflows between creative teams and manufacturing, reducing rework, cycle time, and inconsistencies in print-ready outputs. - Apply AI and automation to real production problems by improving adoption of existing capabilities (e.g., AI card-back copy generation), delivering in-flight efforts (e.g., validation and error detection), and identifying where AI can remove steps entirely. - Work hands-on with engineering and data teams to turn AI and workflow ideas into reliable, production-ready systems, not prototypes. - Deliver results through shared ownership and collaboration with business operations, internal software teams, and external vendors, while maintaining end-to-end accountability across a highly matrixed environment. - Operate as a Principal-level Individual Contributor, setting the bar for product judgment, execution quality, and cross-team partnership, and influencing other PMs through example What We’re Looking For - 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, operationally critical platforms, and ability to use various product development software (Atlassian Suite, Figma, Text Editors, etc…). - Proven success operating as a Principal-level Individual Contributor, owning strategy and execution for large problem spaces. - Deep experience with workflow-heavy systems that involve creative, editorial, media, or production pipelines. - Strong intuition for how businesses use tools like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or similar creative systems, even if you’re not a daily user. - Demonstrated ability to apply AI and automation to real-world product problems, with strong product judgment around feasibility and impact. - Experience in building and applying RAG Models and Evaluation frameworks. - Exceptional collaborator who can drive alignment across teams, vendors, and business partners without formal authority. - Clear, persuasive communicator with strong executive presence. Bonus Points - Experience integrating or extending third-party creative or production systems. - Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to develop software or accelerate product requirement definition - Familiarity with DAMs, design systems, print production workflows, or creative tooling ecosystems. - Passion for trading cards, collectibles, and creative production at scale. Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud. Fanatics never seeks payment from job applicants. Feel free to ask your recruiter for a phone call or other type of communication for interview, and ensure your communication is coming from a Fanatics email address (including @collectfanatics.com).
