Position Summary The Client Performance Management Analyst supports the financial and operational management of pricing and Discount Guarantees by performing detailed reconciliations, validating data accuracy, and preparing reporting that reflects customer financial outcomes. The Analyst contributes to audit readiness by maintaining clear and accurate documentation and assisting in the resolution of data discrepancies. The role collaborates closely with Finance, Underwriting, Account Management, and operational partners to uphold the integrity of Discount Guarantee processes, tools, and customer deliverables. Additional responsibilities to include but not limited to the following: - Perform annual reconciliations of customer Discount Guarantees and address related inquiries to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Prepare quarterly customer claims and performance reports with high attention to detail and data accuracy. - Assist in responding to auditor requests by analyzing discrepancies, preparing clear documentation, and helping resolve issues promptly. - Support the use and maintenance of reconciliation models, MAC analysis tools, and data‑warehouse sources to ensure consistent and reliable outputs. - Provide analytical and data support for maintaining and improving departmental tools, reporting processes, and related documentation. - Support Open Enrollment activities by updating Discount Guarantees configurations and ensuring accuracy of related data and documentation. - Prepare and submit customer refund requests in accordance with established guidelines and required documentation. - Collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Account Management, and operational teams to support routine financial and operational inquiries. - Provide data and analytical support for maintaining Discount Guarantees configurations under the direction of senior team members. Required Qualifications - 4 years of professional experience in analytics, finance, operations, or another quantitative, data‑driven environment; exposure to pharmacy claims data is a plus. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and comfort analyzing large datasets and performing data‑driven modeling to support reconciliations and performance reporting. - Experience with Microsoft Access or similar data tools (e.g., queries/joins, basic SQL) used alongside reconciliation models, MAC analysis tools, or data‑warehouse sources. - Understands (or can quickly learn) relational data‑warehouse structures and data flow—how fields, tables, and keys relate—and how similar datasets are produced at different levels of detail (e.g., transaction, member, plan). - Ability to read and interpret basic contracts related to Discount Guarantees, pricing schedules, and client obligations. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and produce clear, audit‑ready documentation. - High attention to detail and accuracy to support reconciliations, quarterly reporting, and refund processing. - Ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables (e.g., annual, quarterly, and audit cycles) in a fast‑paced environment. - Effective written and verbal communication to collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Account Management, and operational teams on routine financial and operational inquiries. Preferred Qualifications - Healthcare/PBM exposure — e.g., familiarity with benefit configuration, pricing constructs (AWP, MAC), channel differences, and pharmacy claims. - Intermediate SQL for analysis (e.g., multi‑table joins, window functions, CTEs). - Experience building dashboards or reports with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Certifications preferred in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), SQL, Certified Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (CPBS), or relevant to position Education Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or Health Information Management) or equivalent work experience. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $102,081.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
