Forward Majority
Location: Remote; Not required to live in or move to program state Status: Full time employee with benefits; temporary through January 31, 2027 Forward Majority State legislatures are ground zero in the fight for democracy. Since 2017, Forward Majority has been a leading organization at the frontline of the fight to accelerate Democratic power in state legislatures. To date, we’ve mobilized over $120 million to advance our mission. The Role On the heels of Democrats’ historic state level success in 2025, and as we continue to build and scale our work in 2026, the Senior Program Manager role is an essential component of the Battleground Voter Project. This role will report to the Deputy National Director of BVP and work closely with other staff and consultants on the areas outlined below. Ideally this candidate will have: - 6-8 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in field campaigns for progressive political campaigns, unions, non-profits, or civic engagement organizations - Significant experience managing staff to reach goals - Knowledge of key performance metrics in the space - Knowledge of VAN, Blocks, spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets), and Google Suite - Experience overseeing scaled, in-person voter registration drives, including: - Budget design - Training - Canvass and office management - Quality Control - Knowledge of voter registration compliance and the role quality control plays in the space - Experience with coalition building and managing external relationships - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to travel up to 30-40% in election years; less travel in off-years - A commitment to expanding the Democratic base and increasing Democratic power in state legislatures Responsibilities include: Overall: Oversee third-party voter registration drives focused on competitive state legislative districts in targeted states. Reports results to and consults around strategy with senior voter registration staff - Own strategic planning in up to two program states - Distribute and assist partners with RFPs, budget templates, and invoicing reports - Review and advise Senior Staff on approval of final partner budgets and invoice reports. Assure partner plans align within overall Forward Majority budgets - Assure Forward Majority approves and moves funding to partners in a timely manner - Develop transparent, accountable, and respectful relationships with field partners - Track key performance metrics of partner programs - Track quality control reporting of partner programs - Hold weekly calls with partners to ensure program accountability. Advise partners on program success and around remediation plans where necessary - Perform site visits to partner programs to coach partners on voter registration and quality control best practices. Helps partners both improve performance and identify issues as they arise - Develop and facilitate trainings in target states - Own relationships with external organizations in targeted states. About the Role Our growing company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the complex, cross-functional initiatives that are critical to Your Money Line’s growth, beginning with a high priority white label partner solution.
