Role Description Performs federal and state legal research dealing with pharmacy benefits managers and related topics to support the PBM state law team. Tracks newly enacted federal and state PBM laws and regulations and coordinates with legal team to provide timely information to key internal stakeholders. - Performs federal and state legal research across an array of topics impacting pharmacy benefit managers. - Creates and maintains 50-state surveys on significant state laws impacting the activities of pharmacy benefit managers. - Tracks newly enacted state PBM laws to assist lawyers in providing guidance on implementation. - Drafts summaries of newly enacted laws impacting pharmacy benefit managers and works with attorneys to include legal analysis. - Assists attorneys in maintaining consistent legal positions where appropriate. - Drafts and maintains master process documents to promote consistency among lawyers. Qualifications - 2 - 4 years experience working as a paralegal. - Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills. - Proven track record demonstrating attention to detail. Requirements - Certified Paralegal or Certified Legal Assistant (Preferred). - Bachelor Degree (Education).
