Job Requirements

  • Required
  • 3–6+ years of hands-on social media management experience with a focus on the US market
  • Proven copywriting ability — strong portfolio or samples of social copy across multiple platforms and formats
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume posting schedules (multi-platform, multiple posts per day)
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent) with hands-on experience working from raw footage formats (e.g., .R3D, .BRAW, .ProRes, .MOV), including color correction, audio, and motion graphics
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent) with working knowledge of Figma for collaborative design and template workflows — Canva alone is not sufficient for this role
  • Proficiency with AI content and productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Canva AI, or similar) and a working understanding of how to use them responsibly without losing brand authenticity
  • Proficiency with social media management platforms (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, or similar)
  • Experience building and executing social strategies tied to marketing or membership campaigns
  • Solid understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and content formats for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, and TikTok within a US audience context
  • Preferred
  • Experience in member/stakeholder engagement or association environments
  • Familiarity with paid social advertising and ability to collaborate with an ads team
  • Experience with social listening tools (Brandwatch, Sprout, Mention, etc.)
  • Background in or familiarity with ecommerce

Benefits

  • Salary: $3,000–$3,500 USD/month
  • Bonus Opportunities:
  • Annual Bonus Pool Participation: Participate in an annual bonus pool, contingent upon the year-over-year growth rate in Monthly Recurring Membership Revenue (MRR) and maintaining a 75% average in the defined KPIs. Bonus is accrued yearly; 50% is paid at year-end, and the remaining in the following mid-year.
  • Team Member Referral Bonus: Earn between $750 - $2,500 for successful hires referred, depending on the role level. The bonus is contingent upon both parties’ continued employment for a minimum of six months.

Our 'office' is wherever you are, offering unparalleled flexibility to work from home, at a café, or while globe-trotting, as long as you're in sync with Eastern Time for key hours. This flexibility ensures you can balance personal and professional life seamlessly.
  • Outcome-Driven Work Culture: At MDS, we prioritize results over rigid schedules. Manage your day according to your own rhythm, focusing on outcomes, not hours. This approach grants you the freedom to handle personal tasks or indulge in leisure activities without compromising work quality.
  • Autonomous Time Management: Empower yourself with the autonomy to organize your tasks and schedule. We trust you to strike the perfect balance between work and personal life, fostering a healthy work-life integration.
