About the client: Our client is a law firm specializing in family law matters. They are dedicated to guiding and advocating for clients through matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, and other sensitive legal issues with care and professionalism. They are currently seeking a remote Litigation Paralegal to join their team. About the role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our client’s law firm with discovery and litigation support, assisting attorneys throughout active case proceedings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in litigation workflows—preferably within family law—and be comfortable working remotely. This role is essential in supporting the legal team and ensuring cases move efficiently through each stage of litigation. Family law litigation experience is preferred. What you’ll be doing: - Assisting attorneys with discovery preparation and responses, including drafting, organizing, and reviewing discovery documents. - Supporting litigation tasks such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and court filings. - Utilizing My Case law practice management software for document management and case tracking. - Managing and organizing case files securely through Dropbox or similar systems. - Communicating with attorneys, opposing counsel, court staff, and clients as needed. - Tracking deadlines and ensuring the timely completion of discovery and litigation-related tasks. - Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Who are we looking for? - 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal with U.S. law firms. - Experience in discovery and litigation. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Experience working in a family law firm is a plus.
