Department Overview The Motorola Solutions Global Education Organization is responsible for creating innovative training strategies, as well as the design, development, and delivery of technical and end user training content across the company’s solutions/product portfolio. Our training services address the educational needs of our Motorola Solutions customers, partners and employees, enabling each group to be more efficient, effective, as well as ensure established business and operational outcomes are met. Job Description This dynamic role will be responsible for delivering North America (NA) end user training classes for service partners, employees, and customers. The person filling this role will primarily provide both technical and user instruction on various LMR, Body Worn Camera, and software solutions, with room for expansion in the future. They will also provide training recommendations with the Training Consultants during planning. The candidate filling this role works closely with NA Training Delivery Manager, Content Managers, Account Managers, Customer Service Managers, and Project Managers as well as other teams to provide comprehensive training delivery to ensure the highest level of knowledge transfer to the students. The driving goal of the End User Training Specialist is to ensure training delivery is provided to the students so that they are equipped to configure, use, operate and maintain their MSI solutions and products in the most effective and efficient way, driving student satisfaction and a strong relationship with all training audiences. This position is remote work and can be located anywhere in the contiguous United States, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Training material creation and development - Training delivery, development, administration, planning, and execution of training events - Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness - Demonstrates strong instructional skills, is detail-oriented, is adept at multitasking and willing to travel to multiple locations across North America. - Regularly interact and build lasting relationships with Service Partners, Public Safety/First Responder customers, and internal product/solution teams to further enhance current and future training strategies - Ability to work independently on assigned projects - Prioritize the work to ensure the accurate and timely execution of deliverables. - Demonstrate training effectiveness through systematic program evaluation and continuous improvement strategy - Manage all hardware, software, classroom, and lab equipment expectations required to deliver training in a classroom setting - Travel requirements: 50%-75%, with domestic and occasional international travel requirements to meet business needs A successful candidate will have well-rounded combination of the following: - Prior experience in Professional Commercial Radio (PCR) or Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and console software - Prior teaching or instructor experience - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Working knowledge of Motorola Solutions Technology - Training Certificate from a professional certifying body - Working Knowledge of business programs such as Google Slides, Sheets, Gmail and other G-Suite related tools.
