Working under moderate supervision, the HL7 Integration Engineer will work with clients, engineering, solution architects and project managers to design, develop and implement complex integrated solutions. Essential Job Duties - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement and operationalize Merge software and integrated solutions. - Apply knowledge of Merge solutions, site workflows, and business requirements to optimize solution effectiveness. - Define, document, and validate solution requirements. - Design, develop, deploy, and support custom HL7 interfaces. - Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and application integrations. - Perform and support custom data imports and exports, including development of supporting tools. - Assist internal teams in resolving field and client issues. - Serve as a subject matter expert in sales calls and discussions with prospective clients. - Support Go-Live activities and transition solutions to the Support organization. - Deliver services in alignment with established implementation methodologies. - Maintain accurate records in CRM and regulatory systems. - Escalate product issues through the defect tracking system. - Engage in continuous learning to expand expertise in Merge products and related technologies. - Identify and communicate opportunities to improve client solutions and internal processes. - Perform additional duties as assigned by management.   Required Knowledge & Experience - 6 + years of Healthcare IT experience. - 3 + years of experience configuring HL7 interface engines, including HL7, XML, and related integrations. - 3 + years of experience configuring and supporting in-house applications. - Background in healthcare informatics and medical imaging workflows. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. - Project management experience, with the ability to manage a dynamic workload and align expectations with stakeholders. - Familiarity with source control systems, defect tracking systems, and reporting systems.   Education Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.   Work Environment - Office or Remote Home-Based Work Environment  - Travel: 0-5%  Compensation The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position.
