Job Description

Technical Business Analyst

ConnectWise

• Provides support to cross-functional team(s), with close attention to detail • Research, analysis, and document findings • Document and distribute new or revised processes and procedures that result from project efforts • Analyze business problems and recommend solutions • Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria • Create and implement a solution design that will meet the needs of the business • Create and implement project plans when applicable • Test the design, manage QA and UAT, and verify solutions • Write up and keep detailed records of initiatives • Perform System demo, participate in user acceptance testing, and conduct user training • Facilitate user acceptance and sign off. • Performs a variety of tasks • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. • Review, analyze, and evaluate market data and trends • Work with stakeholders and requestors to document requirements, define project scope and objectives, and do the analysis to provide recommendations to stakeholders and management on the next steps

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with the Salesforce Platform
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
  • Preferred: Experience in Finance or Marketing

Role Description The position will collaborate with department directors/managers across Noridian and the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions. In addition, this position will develop and implement solutions for the enterprise regarding restoration of business processes in case of an event while working closely with leadership regarding the financial impact these solutions have on the organization. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is required. An understanding of business interruptions and the knowledge of adequate workaround procedures is imperative for the success of this position. Similarly, the ability to use discernment on assessing potential risks and responses to the organization is of high importance. Essential Functions - Establishes and Maintains Resiliency Program Strategy and Governance for the management of business resiliency activities. - Develops and implements enterprise business recovery plan and procedures, including playbooks for executives and Board of Directors. - Coaches and develops staff, encouraging growth while ensuring staff are meeting expectations. - Conducts Risk Assessment for departments/functions, analyzing potential business impact of business interruptions. - Reviews departmental plans to identify trends across departments that may require enterprise solutions. - Analyzes the business impact of interruptions and maintains a deep understanding of critical processes. - Collaborates with IT or vendors Disaster Recovery coordinators to ensure system recovery timelines are documented, tested, and validated. - Creates and Facilitates Resiliency Testing, documenting lessons learned and modifying existing plans for improvement. - Identifies and implements recovery plans to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity. - Advocates for Business Resiliency throughout the organization by building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. - Develops and provides staff training on all business resiliency components as appropriate. - Champions the Use of Resiliency Management Software, developing a deep understanding of tools capabilities. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems or other related fields OR equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Three years professional experience in a complex, cross-departmental environment. - Thorough understanding of risk identification and management including business impact analysis. - Experience with business continuity planning and management, disaster recovery, and/or crisis management response. - Strong communication skills. - Strategic thinking, including anticipating change, future needs, or risk and identify solutions. - Problem solving skills. - Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. - Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes. - Ability to review customer requirements/contracts and identify Noridian’s responsibilities.
