Senior PHP Developer

• Develop and maintain web applications used by Locaweb's end customers • Understand business requirements and translate them into viable, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, technical refinements, planning, and architecture discussions • Develop end-to-end features, working on both the backend and frontend of applications • Ensure delivery quality through automated tests, code reviews, and engineering best practices • Investigate and fix bugs, failures, and performance issues in production • Contribute to the evolution of application architecture, always considering maintainability, security, and scalability • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Product, Design, QA, and other technical areas • Provide technical support to the team, sharing knowledge and raising the quality of deliverables • Work autonomously in handling tasks, prioritizing deliveries responsibly and managing your own work effectively
Job Requirements
- Strong experience developing applications with PHP;
- Experience as a full-stack developer, capable of working on both backend and frontend;
- Good knowledge of building and consuming REST APIs;
- Experience in solution and architecture design;
- Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization;
- Experience with AI tools;
- Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests;
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, such as SOLID, clean code, code review, and refactoring;
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows;
- Experience in agile environments, participating in refinements, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives;
- Ability to understand business requirements and document them technically with clarity;
- Self-managed profile with ownership mentality, professional maturity, and good communication skills.
