Brice Equipment, LLC Regular JOB SUMMARY: The Industrial Product & Services Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, customer engagement, and service support for industrial mining and construction products. This includes conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, wear materials, attachments, and related heavy-duty components. The position will focus on developing new business within an assigned territory while also supporting opportunities in Alaska, in close collaboration with the Industrial Program Manager. This role combines technical expertise, customer relationship management, and business development, ensuring Brice Equipment delivers high-value products and services that optimize client operations. The Specialist will operate remotely, traveling as needed to customer sites, industrial facilities, and mines to provide consultation, demonstrations, and service support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Serve as the subject matter expert on assigned industrial products and services, particularly in mining and construction applications. - Actively pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory, as well as Alaska, in partnership with the Industrial Program Manager. - Provide technical consultation and tailored product recommendations to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximize ROI for customers. - Develop and deliver proposals, quotations, and bids in collaboration with sales and operations teams. - Conduct on-site product demonstrations, training sessions, and service presentations for customers and internal staff. - Manage customer accounts to ensure high satisfaction, timely follow-ups, and long-term relationships. - Coordinate with service teams for installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sale support. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product performance to identify areas of growth and innovation. - Assist in the development of marketing content, case studies, and technical documentation. - Maintain detailed records of sales activity, service requests, and customer communications in CRM systems. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and Brice company policies. - Work as a “team player” with co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner. - Work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner. - Seek and participate in development and training opportunities. - Perform other duties as assigned or directed. SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: - Advanced knowledge of the industrial, mining, and oil & gas construction industries and demonstrated ability to read and interpret contracts, proposals, and other related documents. - Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner. - Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base. - Technical knowledge of various field construction concepts, practices, and procedures, and ability to explain complex industrial systems in clear terms. - Ability to have an analytical approach to diagnosing issues and providing recommended solutions. - Ability to understand client challenges and provide tailored solutions for customer-focused selling of industrial products & services. - Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. - Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, customer needs, and market demands. - Proficiency in Customer Relations Management (CRM) software systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent. - Skilled in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business development opportunities. - Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers, with exceptional follow-up skills. - Self-motivation and ability to be independent and proactive in pursuing goals in a remove environment with limited oversight. - Ability to do business ethically with customers, vendors, and co-workers. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures. - Ability to work productively under pressure. - Ability to travel for work-related purposes (up to 60% of the time). - Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment. - Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule sometimes including weekends and holidays. - Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Business, or related degree program required; work-related experience and equivalent skills may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. - Five (5) years’ experience in Industrial Sales, Technical Services, and/or Equipment Solutions required. - Demonstrated success in remote business development and territory management required. - Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturing organizations (OEM’s), distributors, or contractors in the mining industry preferred. - Technical Product knowledge of conveyor systems, rollers, bearings, wear parts, and heavy equipment attachments preferred. - Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s driving policy. - Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening.
