Qualifications - Empathetic and patient-centered—you treat every call like it matters, because it does. - Highly organized and self-directed—you manage your schedule, your queue, and your documentation without being micromanaged. - Comfortable with technology—you adapt quickly to new platforms, EMRs, and digital workflows. - A clear, confident communicator—both on the phone with patients and in written documentation. - Calm under volume—you stay focused and professional when the caseload is heavy. - Committed to quality and compliance—you do the job right, every time. Requirements - Active national MA certification: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), NCMA (NCCT), or equivalent. - 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital, family practice, or geriatric setting. - 3+ years of EMR documentation experience; ability to learn new platforms quickly. - 1+ year of remote work experience with high-volume patient phone engagement. - Technical fluency with G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Hubspot, Slack, Zoom, Epic, ECW, Athena, and similar platforms. - Strong working knowledge of chronic conditions and their management (HTN, DM, CHF, COPD). - Familiarity with RPM/CCM billing codes (e.g., 99453, 99454, 99457, 99458, 99490, 99439). - Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Russian preferred. - Reliable high-speed internet, dedicated computer, and a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace. - Available to work 40 hours per week aligned with client clinic hours (e.g., 9AM–6PM local time). Key Functions - Conduct patient outreach and enrollment activities for remote patient monitoring programs. - Execute Welcome Calls, Compliance Calls, and vitals review follow-up. - Identify and escalate clinical risk indicators (out-of-range readings, patient concerns) to the nursing team. - Guide patients through device activation, setup, and 4G device troubleshooting. - Accurately document all patient interactions in the KangarooHealth monitoring platform per protocol. - Assist with device ordering and re-ordering as needed. - Maintain full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all company policies and Code of Conduct. - Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical team members. Benefits - $39K–$48K based on experience and certification. - Base salary plus bonus. - Fully remote — no commute, no relocation. - Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Life and AD&D insurance. - 401(k) retirement plan. - Paid time off. - Upward growth and promotion opportunities within a fast-growing digital health startup.
