Position Title: AI Engineer Category: Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Location: LATAM What you will be doing: We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a development team building conversational AI solutions for consumer-facing digital products. This role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating intelligent chatbot systems powered by Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Azure, GenAI concepts, and data orchestration tools such as LangChain or Apache Airflow, and is passionate about delivering scalable, user-friendly conversational experiences. Required Skills & Experience - 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering (flexible depending on GenAI exposure) - Basic to intermediate knowledge of Azure cloud services - Foundational understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and LLM-based applications - Experience with orchestration tools such as LangChain and/or Apache Airflow - Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) - Exposure to NLP concepts and evaluation techniques - Experience building and consuming REST APIs - Understanding of data pipelines and workflow orchestration - Familiarity with Git and version control Nice to Have Skills - Experience with Azure OpenAI or other LLM providers - Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings - Familiarity with chatbot frameworks or conversational platforms - Experience with real-time messaging or event-driven architectures - Experience deploying AI applications in production Soft Skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking - Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI technologies - Good communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments - Attention to detail and user-centric mindset
