eBay
At eBay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts. Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet. Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all. WHI Solutions, Inc. an eBay Company (www.whisolutions.com) is a global ecommerce leader that connects thousands of buyers and sellers in North America and drives over $5 Billion in transactions annually through its Nexpart B2B ecommerce platform. We enable economic opportunity for businesses and organizations of all sizes. WHI’s strategic vision is to become the best business-to-business (B2B) marketplace for buyers and sellers of automotive and truck parts. Looking for a purpose-driven company that puts the customer at the heart of everything? A culture that encourages people to think big and be curious, to act with urgency and integrity and to be fearlessly inclusive? That’s who we are. If this sounds compelling, join WHI today! The Role and Opportunity The automotive B2B ecommerce market is evolving. Traditionally, large parts retailers and wholesale distributors either build their own B2B ecommerce platforms or partner with distributor-agnostic platforms like WHI’s Nexpart platform to offer a buying portal for their repair shop and fleet customers. However, due to the multi-vendor shopping experiences present in almost every other industry, automotive parts buyers are increasingly requesting similar experiences that enable them to buy parts from all their suppliers in a unified experience. WHI has responded to this opportunity by launching the latest release of Nexpart named Multi-Seller, which enables wholesale parts buyers to buy from all their parts suppliers in one place. Multi-Seller has been adopted enthusiastically by parts buyers and we have seen dramatic sales growth from the product over the past 18 months. We are now seeking a Senior Sales Professional to lead and drive the next phase of growth. The ideal candidate has significant sales and account management experience working with automotive service chains, car dealership part buying, or related software businesses. The candidate must be self-motivated and driven to increase the penetration of a new product in the market using their own personal capital and working through others. Key Responsibilities: - Independently drive sales initiatives to grow adoption and use of the Nexpart Multi-Seller product by wholesale part buyers, with an emphasis on repair chains, car dealerships, and fleet managers - Deliver against sales objectives and quota through a mix of direct outreach and partner referrals. - Cultivate major account relationships to deepen and grow parts buying via Multi-Seller over time - Serve as a ‘voice of the customer’ to bring customer needs front and center in product development, sales strategy, and go-to-market plan - Partner with the WHI management team to build a winning strategy to further grow share of wholesale parts buying - Build and vision and plan for scaling outreach to wholesale parts buyers via use of external agencies or contractors. This role may entail managing external vendor relationships or internal contractors over time Job Requirements/Qualifications: - 10+ years of sales and/or account management experience working with large automotive service chains, car dealership part buying, or related software businesses - Outstanding sales relationship capabilities coupled with strong ability to learn technical concepts and communicate them clearly to customers - Excellence in critical thinking, developing sensible, creative solutions to challenging strategic business problems - Ability to communicate clearly and simply with mid-level and senior audiences. Strong influencing skills - Comfort in cultivating relationships with senior stakeholders in both the corporate center and field offices of large wholesale parts buyers - Ability to lead, empower and mentor team members - BS/BA degree required - Comfort in handling uncertainty - Travel required up to 25% of time to customer/prospect sites and industry events - Highly collaborative – be fun, and easy to work with!
