Role Description The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Manager, Marketplace to join our E-commerce Team. This role will be based in Winnipeg at our Home Office at 147 Commerce Drive, or remotely within Canada. The Manager, Marketplace supports the growth and daily performance of TDG's extended aisle program (marketplace and drop ship) by coordinating seller acquisition, seller onboarding, and account management activities. This role ensures sellers meet marketplace standards, achieve early commercial success, and deliver a strong customer experience, while collaborating with merchandising, marketing, and product teams to enable seamless marketplace operations. As the Manager, Marketplace you will: - Execute marketplace strategy by managing day-to-day marketplace activities that support revenue growth, seller performance, and category expansion. - Coordinate with Business Development and Seller Account Management to support seller onboarding, activation, catalog readiness, and ongoing performance needs. - Support strategic seller relationships, including communication, commercial coordination, and implementation of agreed-upon initiatives. - Monitor key KPIs (traffic, conversion, sales, customer experience, catalog health) and escalate insights, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. - Oversee operational standards across marketplace sellers and drop ship vendors, ensuring sellers meet SLAs, policy requirements, and customer experience expectations. - Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, product/tech, and customer service teams to resolve issues and execute marketplace initiatives. - Identify process improvements to strengthen marketplace operations, seller satisfaction, and team efficiency. - Partner with supply chain/operations on vendor fulfillment SLAs and issue resolution. - Ensure consistent CX standards across all third-party fulfillment models. - Demonstrate the company’s values in all aspects of their work performance. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, account management, or digital merchandising. - Experience working directly with sellers, brands, or vendors to improve catalog, operational performance, or sales. - Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, seller tools, and KPIs (traffic, conversion, SLAs, CX metrics). - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (merch, marketing, product, CX). - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. - Additional coursework or training in ecommerce, digital operations, or merchandising is a plus. - A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Analytical mindset with ability to interpret marketplace and seller performance data. - Organized and detail-oriented with strong execution discipline. - Customer-focused with commitment to improving seller and customer outcomes. - Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. - Driver’s License Required. - Passport and ability to travel in North America. - A satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required.
