The Role This role is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for assigned projects. These projects may involve the implementation of a combination of software, hardware, and services within the organization. This role is responsible for the successful on-time completion of projects and for managing interactions between different internal departments, as well as clients and vendors. This role works with minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Work performed in this role will directly impact the productivity and effectiveness of the project team and resulting in customer satisfaction. This role serves as the primary contact for our clients throughout their software implementation projects. Job Duties Include: - Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects. - Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project. - Subject-matter expert knowledge of the implementation process and contractual language. - Acts as a mentor to the PM team and helps train new hires. - Leads technical discussions between product and operations on process improvement for specific modules. - Drives and refines the process. - Works on the most challenging and large-scale projects with minimal supervision. - Assists other PMs on escalations when needed. - Maintains current and identifies new project management tools and/or software to increase productivity. - Leads large group meetings on process and product. - Displays good communication skills with a customer service focus. - Performs all other duties as assigned
