Role Summary The QA / Test Automation Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions through robust testing strategies and automation practices. Acting as a key contributor within the delivery lifecycle, this role focuses on designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks, leading testing activities, and ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), the QA Lead operates effectively within Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement. • What you'll do • Develop scalable backend services and APIs • Build automation platforms and workflow orchestration • Integrate systems and correlate data from multiple sources • Develop solutions using LLMs (GenAI), RAG, and agents • Automate risk, vulnerability, and governance processes • Create data pipelines and search mechanisms • Evolve proofs of concept (POCs) into production

• Identifying opportunities to eliminate manual security workflows and replace them with scalable, automated solutions • Building internal tools and integrations that automate processes such as vulnerability triage and prioritization, alert enrichment and routing, and GRC evidence collection • Partnering with security and engineering stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into practical technical solutions • Designing and building reusable “paved road” solutions that standardize how security workflows are executed across teams • Using AI-assisted development tools and LLM APIs to accelerate implementation • Continuously improving, maintaining, and scaling solutions to handle increasing volume, complexity, and organizational needs • Supporting Product Security workflows as needed, such as security reviews, vulnerability triage, or tooling • Supporting the secure usage and development of AI/LLM-powered features across Calendly as needed

• Will play a leading role in the continuous evolution of systems at a company focused on software development.
