Job Description BAE Systems Inc, Space and Mission Systems (SMS) is seeking a skilled Multispectral/Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will conduct research and analysis to understand and improve the utility of new multispectral and hyperspectral data for Intelligence Community (IC) customers through research and development (R&D) of remote sensor data, customer engagement and support, and improvements to the data processing and analysis techniques. The goal of this work is to develop capabilities to transition to a streamlined production process. You will work with a team of engineers and scientists that includes spectral Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will provide technical guidance as you develop a deep understanding of the technology with an eye on future advancements. The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions.
