Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) to design, build, and support enterprise reporting, analytics, and planning solutions. This role will be responsible for delivering scalable and high-performance SAP data models, planning applications, and executive dashboards that support business decision-making across Finance and other enterprise functions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL design, reporting, planning, forecasting, and system integration, along with a strong understanding of financial processes and enterprise data architecture. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional teams, and cross-platform integration teams to implement robust SAP analytics and planning capabilities. What you will do - Design, develop, and enhance enterprise data models and reporting solutions using SAP BW/4HANA. - Build and maintain Info Objects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, transformations, DTPs, process chains, and queries. - Develop and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories, dashboards, applications, and planning models. - Configure and support SAP BPC models, business rules, script logic, input schedules, data manager packages, and consolidation/planning processes. - Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable SAP solutions. - Develop and support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting solutions. - Implement driver-based planning, allocations, top-down/bottom-up planning, and variance analysis using SAC/BPC. - Design and enable executive dashboards and self-service analytics for Finance, Controlling, and business leadership. - Support integration of actuals, plan, forecast, and scenario data across SAP and non-SAP systems. - Integrate SAP BW/4HANA, SAC, and BPC with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BODS, SLT, flat files, and external data platforms. - Ensure reliable and accurate movement of data between operational systems, planning applications, and reporting layers. - Collaborate with architecture and data engineering teams on data acquisition, harmonization, and master data alignment. - Support data validation, reconciliation, and auditability across reporting and planning solutions. - Monitor and optimize query performance, data loads, process chains, and SAC story performance. - Troubleshoot production issues, data inconsistencies, and process failures across BW, SAC, and BPC environments. - Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues. - Ensure solutions are compliant with enterprise standards for security, controls, and transport management. Required Qualifications - 8+ years of overall SAP BI/BW experience. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA development. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and/or planning. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BPC development/support. - Strong experience in: - BW/4HANA data modeling and extraction BEx Query / BW Query design - SAC stories, models, planning, and analytic applications - BPC planning models, script logic, business rules, and process flows - Experience working with Finance data domains such as: General Ledger, Cost Center / Profit Center, Actuals vs Plan vs Forecast, Budgeting and forecasting, Consolidation and financial reporting - Strong SQL and data analysis skills. - Experience with SAP transport processes, debugging, testing, and production support. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including integration with BW, SAC, or BPC. - Experience in group reporting, management reporting, and planning transformation initiatives. - Knowledge of ABAP debugging, AMDP routines, FOX formulas, BAdIs, or HANA-based modeling. - Experience with hybrid SAP landscapes involving cloud and on-premise data sources. - Familiarity with data governance, authorization design, and row-level security. - Experience in Agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and release management. - SAP certifications in BW/4HANA, SAC, or BPC are a plus. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $83,430.00 - $166,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
