Clinical Training Specialist – Cardiovascular

• Support onboarding of commercial staff by delivering training using a variety of methods; focus on V‑Wave products as well as core clinical and commercial knowledge. • Improve patient outcomes by ensuring the field team is properly trained and prepared to care for patients with V‑Wave products and that trainings comply with the applicable Instructions for Use (IFU). • Participate in the Train‑the‑Trainer program, facilitate sessions, and act as a coach for best practices for members of the V‑Wave field team. • Provide clinical support during commercial cases as needed; attend procedures to assist with device preparation and handling during the intervention. • Continuously evaluate and further develop training and certification programs. • Maintain accurate training documentation and manage inventory and training devices. • Plan and coordinate logistics for training of new staff. • Support customer trainings as required. • Work closely and cross‑functionally with other team members and contribute clinical expertise as needed. • Ensure consistent compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and laws, and ethical standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience, including at least 2 years in direct patient care as a nurse/technician and at least 2 years of field/on‑site experience with products and technologies in the cardiovascular area.
- Solid experience in cardiology is required (e.g., ICU/CCU/CVICU, catheterization lab, cardiac OR/CVOR, electrophysiology, etc.), including experience with cardiac imaging.
- Completed training/qualification in nursing or a clinical‑technical field (e.g., radiology, CVT, perfusion, respiratory therapy) required.
- Experience as a Clinical Trainer is preferred.
- Strong passion for training and education, demonstrable teaching experience, and recognition as a clinical expert.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to communicate information clearly, regularly, and effectively.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders (physicians, colleagues, leaders).
- Ability to lead teams without direct authority; strong interpersonal, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Independent, compliance‑oriented working style; proactive, results‑driven, approachable.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (minimum 75%).
