Customer Service Coordinator

• Manages large amounts of inbound and outbound calls • Provides information, resolves problems, and advises customers on statements or concerns regarding Explanation of Benefit • Follows communication Scripts/Guidelines when needed to handle different clients • Works within multiple Billing systems and EHR/EMR systems • Patient payment processing and posting • Maintaining documentation of all conversations in multiple systems per conversation • Identify billing errors in the claim process when patients call in with a complaint • Effectively communicates billing errors and payment issues with clients and team members • Performs pre-collection calls • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in operations
  • Smart, talented, tech-savvy, experienced, go-getter types
  • Knowledge of how Health Insurance coverage works
  • Knowledge of the medical claim process
  • Knowledge of the patient statement process
  • Previous experience with computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, softphone, web browsers)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work full time hours during regularly scheduled business hours

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for our hospital and vendor representative users. This role combines hands-on customer service (via Zendesk ticketing and phone), operational support for our core platform, and quality assurance for our new Billing Verification product. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations while contributing to process improvements across our growing customer base. This is currently could be a part-time or full-time position.
